General Board Member – 3 Year Term
Alyssa Fredes
This club has been a cherished part of my life since childhood, and now
my family enjoys it as members, continuing a tradition that began when
my father served as Board Treasurer.
Professionally, I lead a firm that supports hundreds of organizations in
their day-to-day operations, which has given me deep insight into what
it takes to run and maintain a thriving, member-focused community. I am
highly engaged in the local business community and bring strong
connections that can help bolster and support the Board’s mission. In
running my own business, I am continually focused on creative marketing,
event planning, and maintaining fiscal responsibility — all skills I
would apply to help the club grow and remain strong.
Outside of work, I am passionate about giving back and actively seek
ways to serve and strengthen the communities I’m part of. Personally, I
am a mother of two, married for 13 years, and my husband and I love
raising our family in this area. Serving on the Peachwood board would be
a meaningful way for me to combine my professional expertise, local
connections, and dedication to community service for the benefit of a
place that has meant so much to me and my family.
Thank you for your consideration.
Shana Redkoles*
Hello, my name is Shana Redkoles and I currently serve as Pavilion
Coordinator on the Peachwood Board. My family moved to Woolwich and
joined Peachwood in 2014. We became active members of the Pirates swim
team in 2017. I joined the Board in 2022 as an Events Coordinator for a
few years. I enjoyed transitioning to the role of Pavilion Coordinator
this summer and would like to continue to serve the community and the
members of Peachwood in this role if re-elected.
Megan Robertson
My family and I have been members of the Peachwood pool for the past
four years. I was also a member as a child and had the privilege of
being employed by the pool throughout much of my teenage years. Since
2022, my children have been active members of the Peachwood Pirates swim
team.
Currently, I serve as the Swim Team Liaison and President of the
Peachwood Pirates Swim Team Committee. In this role, I’ve had the
opportunity to work closely with the swim team, support our young
swimmers, and help organize a variety of team events and initiatives.
I would like to join the Peachwood Recreation Board to deepen my
involvement and continue giving back to a place that has played such a
meaningful role in my life and in the lives of my children. I believe my
long-standing connection to the pool, combined with my leadership
experience and dedication to the swim team, would allow me to make a
positive impact on the broader Peachwood community. I’m especially
passionate about maintaining and enhancing collaboration between the
pool and the swim team to help ensure Peachwood remains a special and
welcoming place for families.
Kevin Rodden*
Kevin Rodden and his family joined the club in 2022. He is grateful for
the opportunity to serve on the Peachwood Board, having filled a vacancy
in Spring 2025. Kevin has worked at non-profits throughout his career,
and is able to apply this experience to the Board, and hopes to have the
opportunity to continue to serve for many years.
Officer (President) Board Member – 3 Year Term
Al Beaver*
Dear Peachwood family, I am the current president of the Club, and I am
seeking reelection. I began serving on the Peachwood Board in 2019 as
vice president and became president in January of this year when our
prior president stepped down. My family and I have lived in Swedesboro
and Woolwich since 2006. All three of my kids have been on the Peachwood
Pirates Swim Team and our two youngest still swim at Peachwood. Like
many of you, our family’s summer revolves around, what time are we
getting up to go to swim practice or when are we going to the pool? It
has been an honor to serve on the Board with other very dedicated
members of the Club working together to help us improve our facilities
so all our families can enjoy a little fun in the sun. Since joining the
Board I have overseen the revision of our Club By Laws, the
reincorporation of the Club, worked with the past president and current
treasurer to see a budget presented and approved last year for the first
time in years. I would like to thank Ann Marie, our treasurer for her
work on that particularly. I have also overseen recent improvements to
the Club facilities including the remodeling of the bathrooms, new roofs
on the Club’s buildings, new lighting in the pool, and replacement of
some of our “outdated” furniture among other things. I have also
overseen the updating of some of our employment practices and the move
to building a modern digital record system to help with succession
planning from one group of officers and Board members to the next. I am
also a former Kingsway history teacher and hold a B.A. in history from
Rowan University and a M.A. in school administration and leadership from
Georgian Court University. I welcome the opportunity to continue
serving our Club and members as president.
